Shropshire Star - 1978

The Shropshire Star published a feature on Saturday 10 June 1978, focussing on the up-and-coming talent in glassmaking in the Shropshire area including Andrew Sanders and David Wallace.  It includes some fantastic photos of a very young Andrew and David, and an insight into how cheap property was back then.

Also of interest is the "special offer" at the bottom of the second page, where readers could  buy a jug reproduced by Sanders and Wallace in the style of the Wrockwardine Wood glassworks.  These reproductions were commissioned by the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust.
